So THIS happened…(followed by an exhaustive dance party)

This announcement has been well over two months in the making, so it’s not as confetti-throwing for me anymore, but STILL. This is a HUGE deal. Not only will I have one novel released next year, but TWO.

All I know is that after signing with JVNLA, the whole thing happened fast. Quick edits (2 of them? 3? I’ve slept since then.), then my baby went out into the world. I expected to sit back and relax while tinkering with my other babies, but no. Within, oh, two/three weeks, the emails/calls started rolling in. It was dizzying for a second there. I’m not sure I blinked for an entire week.
I’m not kidding.
By the beginning of December I had chosen Denise at Dutton to be my editor (toughest decision of my life, yo!) and I couldn’t be more pleased. We’ve already been through the crucial edits together and she gets me. She knows what Archetype needs to be great. Between Denise and Jennifer, I think I landed the Dream Team.
On that note, it’s time for another dance party.
